Head of HR and Administration
Ophelia is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in human resources, education, and financial services. As Kingsdale’s Head of Human Resources and Administration, Ophelia oversees talent recruitment and retention, administers staff training and development, and promotes diversity and innovation in the workplace.
Prior to joining Kingsdale in 2019, Ophelia began her career teaching English as a second language in Paraguay. Upon returning to Canada, she founded her own business which then led to her building a corporate career in human resources at companies such as Pandora, General Mills and IG Wealth Management in roles that allowed her to utilize her broad range of skill-sets in operations, business management, culture and diversity, health and safety, talent acquisition, and training and development.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Ophelia holds various diplomas and certifications in a wide range of areas and continues to build her knowledge through education.
