Members of the council will leverage their expertise to support the Prime Minister and Cabinet in strengthening one of Canada’s most important international partnerships.
The council is made up of a distinguished group of members, including notable names such as Jean Charest, Rachel Notley, Stephen McNeil, David MacNaughton, Steve Verheul, Arlene Dickinson, Linda Hasenfratz, Lana Payne, Jody Thomas, Flavio Volpe C.M., Tabatha Bull ICD.D, Shahrzad Rafati, Hassan Yussuff, Martin Caron, Brian Topp, Tim Gitzel and Ambassador Kirsten Hillman.
As Canada’s largest trading relationship, the Canada-U.S. partnership is critical to the economic, cultural, and geopolitical well-being of both nations. The council’s work will focus on fostering solutions to shared challenges and opportunities in trade, innovation, security, and more.
